"Any talks of future extensions should strongly consider bus rapid transit rather than light rail," he said. "It is less expensive, has the potential for high ridership and allows us to leverage limited taxpayer dollars."
Answer: Carl Guardino - the patron saint of BART to San Jose. Apparently if it's not BART, taxpayer dollars are "limited" and must be leveraged. But when it comes to the BART boondoggle, anything goes!

Kevin Connolly? I heard him speak about BRT at an SBTOA luncheon.
Isn't he the Entourage guy?
Apparently there is another Kevin Connolly, and he has talked about BRT as being more efficient in the past. As such, if he said this, I would not consider it nearly so ironic to anger me into putting up a blog post. Try again.
The real irony is that Bay Area transit agencies blow big bucks building rail transit lines to suit the whims of politicians, and then as an afterthought build BRT to places people actually want to go!
well Mr 295, follow that thought and the money to the ironic answer to the quiz!
Oh, Carl, I think I'm just going to have to you down and demand satisfaction. Twenty paces at dawn.
